| The event had been advertised for weeks. Excitement grew for the SonQuest rain forest. |
The children were greeted with exotic animals and plants of the rain forest.

First we had dinner. There were 20 children each day. They enjoyed their food!

Back in the sanctuary they watched a video about a rain forest adventure.

Off to our classrooms! This group is in the middle of their rain forest crafts.

This group enjoyed the play time outdoors. It was hot this year!

This group gets ready for the "story telling time." Each day they were told another parable.

Each group had a time to practice songs and dance about Jesus and the rain forest.

| Friday evening the parents were able to see their children recite and perform. |
After a cook-out with the parents, the children played water games. |
| It was a great vacation Bible school. |
31 health kits will be sent to Haiti along with $34.50 to UMCOR Haiti Relief. |
